Perry the Hellbreed's Theme

I’ve just finished Angel Town, the final book in the Jill Kismet series by Lilith Saintcrow, and for some unknown reason have Pericles, the villain of the piece on the brain.

We all love misunderstood bad boys, but there is nothing misunderstood about Perry.  He uses a facade of mediocrity to hide the insidious evil he embodies, but at his mildest, his gentlest, he is most frightening.  At the top of the food chain on the Monde he is the badass hellbreed of them all, and it’s a testament to Jill that she has avoided falling into his traps to damn herself.  He has a soft spot for Jill, but his regard is more likely to kill and his idea of love is destroying everything you hold dear until only he is left.  Perry has all the time in the world to put his schemes in motion and there's nothing he won't do to make sure his plan is carried out.

If you haven't read the series, and like dark, gritty urban fantasy with a smattering of blood and violence, and tough, tortured heroines, then this series is for you.

Jill Kismet Series by Lilith Saintcrow

This track reminds me of Perry and Jill, I can just imagine it playing in the background while Jill is beating the shit out of him at his club.  Kill Me Every Time by Blue Stahli, enjoy.
